Evian Water Gardens

The appropriately named Water Gardens (Jardin Du Pre Curieux) are on the banks of the lake and look across towards towards Switzerland. They have been beautifully landscaped to create a colourful garden which is surrounded by mature trees and dotted with sweet smelling flowerbeds and shrubs and of course water beds and streams. The information centre is housed in a lovelly colonial style house.

The gardens are only reached by taking a short solar powered water bus from the pontoon opposite the Casino in Evian. Open in summer every day in July and August then  Wednesday to Sundays  May June and September. Three visits a day leaving at 10am 1.45pm and 3.30pm. Check with tourist office as this was correct in the summer of 2011
